she said in a dream...

I am so glad I found you,

I said to her face.

I was hugging my pillow

last night as I thought about you...

so close, yet still so far,

but not for much longer

as fear and desire met

and desire victorious, now 

we celebrate.

Seek me, and then find me,

were the words that would echo

in my heart and mind, 

I fought hard to find you

in our game of hide and seek,

my homesickness guiding me 

home to you as time ticked away...

I hold you and touch your face,

never having felt so complete

in all of this life until now, 

delineated and jumping through time,

now is all we have 

and I'm grateful for it.
